Johnson County ARES/RACES is working with Linn County ARES to provide auxiliary communications support for the CRANDIC Marathon to be held Sunday, April 24th.
Johnson County ARES will primarily be providing support for the half marathon portion of the event which starts at the Green State Credit Union HQ in North Liberty and ends at the Water works park in Iowa City. (The half Marathon joins the main Marathon route around on the way to Iowa City)
I would like to have 6-8 volunteers for this event (2 experienced NCS operators located at the JECC, and 4-6 volunteers along the route.
We would stage at the JECC at 7:00 AM and our scheduled portion of the event runs from about 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
